Well there are a few teams that would have the same right to feel ripped off, not just Madrid, who are usually the no.1 favoured team by far. Even the financial rules of UEFA don't need to be followed by Real Madrid because the city's government rights off the debts, that are only awarded to Real Madrid. It's why that proposed Super League was such a bad idea, even for the other clubs included, Madrid would have always played dirty.

I agree with redoing the whole draw again. It’s the most impartial thing to do. If you end up against an easy team, so be it. If you end up against a tough team, so be it.
Real Madrid are unhappy that they got PSG because it’s a much tougher team than Benfica. They wouldn’t be complaining if they got Red Bull Salzburg. They want the result that suits them. Redoing the whole draw eliminates that problem; you get whatever you get.

This smacks of UEFA shafting Perez for the Super League. And as a Barca fan, I take no issue with that. But Laporta was in on the Super League right alone with Perez, so had Barca made it they probably would have been shafted too.
Get rid of the draw, world cups dont have draws mid way through the tournament and no one is longing for it.

I am shocked that UEFA needs a software to do a simple draw like this.
Jules and anyone else who thinks that the redraw needed to occur with all 16 teams in it when the first pairing of the first draw was legitimate, is wrong. The error that UEFA made did not have any statistical bearing on the first pairing of the first draw. That pairing could have been sat aside as legitimate, because it was, and everything past that reset and redone. Jules gives absolutely NO statistical or even analytical reason why it can't be done while acting like it's physically impossible that it could ever be. It is total word salad nonsense. And I have this opinion as someone who does not care which clubs were involved in that first pairing.

I think the draw should have resumed after Benfica v Real because no mistake had been made up to that point and no other clubs were affected up to that point. The Benfica v Real tie was legit.
Out of all Teams only Real Madrid and Benfica have actually the right to complain because they weren’t affected at all by the error or whatever you wanna call it
